Within 30 days after a new district superintendent assumes administrative duties on the district, the term of service of the paid assistants shall be considered concluded, unless otherwise stipulated by national labor law. (Such clerical assistants as office secretaries shall not be included in the above provisions.) (207.3–207.4)

Service as a paid district assistant shall not prohibit one from serving in other district elected or appointed offices such as district secretary or district treasurer.

When it seems clear to the Board of General Superintendents that a district no longer should continue as such, it may, upon their recommendation, be disorganized by a two-thirds favorable vote of the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene and a formal pronouncement thereof. (200)

In case a district becomes officially disorganized, any church property that shall exist may in no way be diverted to other purposes, but shall pass to the control of the Church of the Nazarene, Inc., for the use of the denomination at large, as the General Assembly shall direct; and trustees holding property, or corporations created to hold property, for the disorganized district shall sell or dispose of the same only on the order and under the direction of the appointed agent of the Church of the Nazarene, Inc., and turn the funds over to such agent.
