Following each general assembly, the revised Manual of the Church of the Nazarene is to be effective in all appropriate languages when the Board of General Superintendents announces the official release date.

The Board of General Superintendents shall have authority to do anything in the service of the Church of the Nazarene, not otherwise provided for, in harmony with the general church order, and subject to the church Constitution.
